Use Outnudge thoughtfully

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Outnudge iPhone app and website. By using Outnudge, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Effective August 21, 2026 · Last updated August 21, 2026

1. What Outnudge provides

Outnudge offers activity recording, route context, personal progress, reminders, reflections, optional Apple Health integration, and optional paid features. Features may change as the product develops.

2. Not medical or safety advice

Outnudge is a general wellness and fitness tool, not a medical device, emergency service, navigation guarantee, or substitute for professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before changing activity if you have health concerns.

Outdoor conditions, access rules, weather, daylight, terrain, and map information can change. Check authoritative local sources, obey closures and laws, carry appropriate supplies, and turn back when conditions or your body call for it. Do not rely on Outnudge to contact emergency services.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using the app lawfully, maintaining control of your device, respecting private property and trail rules, and choosing activities appropriate to your ability and conditions. Do not interact with the app while doing so would be unsafe.

4. Outnudge Plus and billing

Paid plans, prices, billing periods, trial availability, and included benefits are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s terms and local law.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple ID subscription settings or through the in-app Customer Center. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Restores require the Apple ID used for purchase. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where law permits, upload malicious material, or use Outnudge to violate another person’s rights.

6. Ownership and feedback

Outnudge’s software, design, branding, and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without obligation to you.

7. Third-party services

Apple, Apple Health, MapKit, RevenueCat, and hosting providers operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or information outside our control.

8. Availability and termination

We aim to keep Outnudge reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may restrict use that violates these terms or creates risk. Provisions that logically survive termination remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outnudge is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from outdoor risk, reliance on route or condition information, device failure, or third-party services. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required. Questions can be sent to legal@outnudge.com.
