Where can I download Outnudge?

Outnudge is available on the App Store for iPhone and requires iOS 26 or later. It is free to download, with optional Outnudge Plus purchases available in the app. Download Outnudge on the App Store.

Does Outnudge need an internet connection?

GPS recording and your saved activity history work without internet. Map tiles, matching catalog places in Apple Maps, live weather, and loading or restoring Plus purchases need a connection. An offline map may be incomplete even while your activity is recording.

Why does Explore show places far from me?

Explore currently contains six outing ideas in and around Islamabad. Search filters this catalog; it does not search for new trails worldwide. If you allow location, the existing ideas are sorted by straight-line distance from you. Distances, duration, effort, and elevation are planning estimates. Confirm access and conditions locally; Outnudge does not provide turn-by-turn guidance.

Why is my route missing or inaccurate?

In iPhone Settings, open Privacy & Security, then Location Services, then Outnudge. Allow location While Using the App and enable Precise Location. Outnudge needs location permission to start a recording and filters out poor GPS samples. Tall buildings, tree cover, and a weak signal can affect route, distance, pace, and elevation. Pause or finish the recording when your outing ends. Apple’s location permission guide.

What happens if the app closes during a recording?

Outnudge saves checkpoints during an active recording. When you reopen it, an available checkpoint restores the last saved time, distance, elevation, and GPS points in a paused state. You can resume or save the activity. Movement after the last checkpoint is not reconstructed, so some recent progress may be missing after an interruption.

Is Apple Health required, and what does it do?

Apple Health is optional. During setup, Outnudge can read totals from supported outdoor workouts in the previous seven days to show your recent activity. This does not import those workouts into your Outnudge history. With your permission, completed Outnudge activities can also be saved to Health, including distance and GPS routes where those permissions are granted. You can change access in the Health app.

Why has my workout not saved to Apple Health?

Your completed activity is saved in Outnudge first. Review Outnudge’s permissions in the Health app and allow workout writes, plus distance and routes if you want those included. Open the activity from Progress and tap Retry when available. Outnudge also retries pending saves when it opens if workout access has already been granted.

How do weather conditions work?

Weather is an Outnudge Plus feature powered by Apple Weather. Today can load local conditions automatically when you open it or return to the app, using location permission. Opening a mapped outing can load weather for that destination. Use the refresh control for another check. A Cached label means recently saved conditions are being shown. Weather needs internet to update and does not confirm that an outing is safe or a route is open.

How do I change or stop reminders?

Open the reminder settings from Today to choose a time, weekdays, activity, and optional sound, or switch reminders off. These are notifications scheduled on your iPhone. You can also snooze a reminder for 30 minutes. If reminders do not appear, check Outnudge’s notification permission and your iPhone’s Focus settings. Delivery depends on your device settings.

What happens to my streak when I miss a day?

Your streak counts consecutive calendar days with a saved Outnudge activity. You have today to continue a streak from yesterday; a missed day resets the current count. There is no streak freeze. Your saved outings, XP, and best streak remain, and you can start again with a smaller quest.

What is included in Outnudge Plus?

Plus adds current weather and a short outlook, along with broader activity statistics: outings in the last 30 days, all-time distance, longest outing, and activity mix. Core activity recording remains free. Available plans, local prices, and any eligible trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

How do I restore or cancel Plus?

To restore, open Outnudge Plus and choose Restore purchases while signed into the Apple Account used to buy it. To cancel a recurring subscription, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Outnudge. Deleting Outnudge does not cancel a subscription. A lifetime purchase, when offered, is paid once and does not renew. Apple’s subscription cancellation guide.

What does a shared achievement card include?

A card includes the activity date and type, duration, distance, elevation, and Outnudge branding. It omits your GPS route, place, and profile name. You choose where to send it through the iPhone share sheet. The app or person you share with will receive that card and its caption.

How can I remove my data?

Outnudge has no cloud account. Delete the app to remove its local activity history, GPS recordings, profile, reflections, and preferences from that device. Offloading the app keeps its documents and data. Device or iCloud backups may retain copies, which you manage separately. Workouts already saved to Apple Health must be removed in Health. Previously shared cards and Apple or RevenueCat purchase records are not removed by deleting Outnudge. Apple’s guide to managing iCloud backups.
